Intelligent feeders are central to an SMT pick and place machine's ability to provide flexibility and productivity for high mix SMT production environments. Intelligent feeders store data about the component and communicate with the SMT pick and place machine to maximize placement efficiency and avoid errors. Intelligent feeders can be programmed and replenished off-line and loaded on the SMT pick and place machine while it's running.
